Our objectives

The Roberto Wirth Fund Onlus (RWF) is an association that is dedicated to supporting deaf and deafblind children from 0 to 6 years of age and their families by providing services, programs and professionals who fully respond to their specific needs from birth to diagnosis until they attend school.

Deaf and deafblind children

Deaf and deafblind children, during the early stages of life, will receive substantial support at RWF in order to be successful in developing their cognitive, emotional, social, communicative and linguistic abilities and ultimately, in obtaining an optimal quality of life.

Parents

Parents play an important role during their child’s growth and development. For this reason, they will be welcomed and supported to become active agents of care.

Multisensory laboratory "The First Step..."

All activities are carried out in the RWF multisensory laboratory, an environment responsive to the needs of deaf and deafblind children. The laboratory is equipped with multi-sensory games, materials, tools and facilitators of communication. It has diagnostic tests and specialized equipment for observing and assessing children. A space is also dedicated to receiving and supporting parents.
