The art in the hands - first study holiday children CGSI

RWF contributed to the creation of the First Children's Study Holiday CGSI which was held at "Il Forno Antico” a farm in San Mauro La Bruca (SA) on the 24th to the 29th of June 2008. The project was supported by deaf educators and former students with “Roberto Wirth” scholarship. This study holiday was designed for deaf children with the aim of educating children about farm life and animals, encouraging socialization and integration.

A leisure and recreational methodology was implemented and developed through expressive, artistic and theatrical performances. The First Children's Study Holiday CGSI contributed to the idea that the play can contribute to the personal growth of deaf children.
